This song is one that would have been written and recorded briefly after Snowing was, and it always just made me *feel. It conveyed exactly the vibe and aesthetic and meaning that I wanted when I began writing, and that was an immensely strong and satisfying thing to achieve as an artist this early on in my writing. It is a simply made song with voice and ukulele, but it portrays some very powerful and important features of close friendships, and just how deeply they can impact and change a person over a period of time. It means a lot to have someone there who understands you and who you understand. It's a feeling that you want the other person to know that you feel, so that they can see they can rely on you to be there for them when they need it, no matter what. It means a lot to have someone who "Knows".
