Paths in Time was my second release of all time, following my debut EP. It followed similar themes  to 'Stars, Scenery, and Us' with focus on the large-scale universe and the intimacy of living a relatively small life in the midst of the massive existence that we reside in.  It's largely broken into two parts towards the middle of the track, with the first half being a chill lo-fi type instrumental that was made with a mixture of electronic samplers and drum sequencers, which I believe I only ever used in like, three songs? lol, yeah. The other two are in my album 'Signature Vibes' and are titled 'Come From Away' and 'Cards on the Table' if you're curious to listen! The sound of this first half also kind of reminds me of like, Africa by TOTO, and feels like an underwater adventure or an adventure in a space submarine to me? The second half of the piece differs quite a bit from the first half in that rather than being electronic, it is pretty much entirely acoustic, with the exception of the editing of the tracks post-recording. It follows a train of thought of an individual grounding themselves in nature while thinking about the large scale of the universe, their relationship with themselves and others, and with their future (during, and after their life on earth). I may re-release this piece split into its respective halves for those who prefer that.
